Friday to Friday

There's something magical about a Friday to Friday trip. Arriving on a Friday means you can ease into your stay with the simplicity that only an incoming weekend can afford—it’s that TGIF advantage. And as far as the return journey goes, heading home on a Friday means you’ve got the weekend to slow-roll reality and bask in the inspiration energy a bit longer.

For us, that energy came from our home away from home: Maine. Cozy evenings wrapped in blankets as the cool breeze rolled in made every moment feel like a soft escape. With the rocky coastline as our backdrop, we spent the days roasting marshmallows over bonfires, diving into stacks of books in front of the fireplace, and savoring fresh oysters and orange wine on sea-breezy picnic tables. As I say, “I went to Maine to fix my brain!” And dangit, it did just the trick :)
